The International Students Office

The International Students Office (Bureau des étudiants internationaux) is available on both campuses to assist you with various procedures related to your life in France and at University.

Exchange and non-exchange students (free movers) can make an appointment with the BEI reception service. The Office is open for face-to-face receptions on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 4:30pm.

Interactive integration modules for international students To help you prepare for your arrival in France, check out our interactive modules before you leave and learn about your first steps in France and at university: Videos, Quizzes, Vocabulary, Practical information... These modules have been produced by the International Relations Department (DRI) and the Centre international d'études françaises (CIEF) as part of the Bienvenue en France label.

 

The Students Welcome Desk assists you with all the administrative procedures related to your stay in France Need help with administrative formalities (residence permit), food, budgeting, housing, personal care, equipment, transport... Alter Ego 

Alter Ego's mission is to offer international students cultural activities and to put them in touch with other students (French and international) in order to facilitate their integration in Lyon and in university life.

A rich and a various program of intercultural activities :
 

• Opération binôme (Buddy system): Matching and follow-up of two (or three) students (French and/or international) in order to create social links and a linguistic support network, for more information click here.

• Cultural outings in connection with Lyon's institutions
