An exchange student is an international student enrolled at a foreign university that has signed an agreement with the Université Lumière Lyon 2.

When students come to study at the Université Lumière Lyon 2, they do not receive a Lyon 2 diploma, but one from their home university.
The Université Lumière Lyon 2 will provide the student with a transcript of their marks, which will be transcribed into a mark for their country of origin.
The Université Lumière Lyon 2 does not require a certificate of French language proficiency. However, as most of the teaching is given in French, we strongly advise future exchange students to have a B1-B2 level (in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
