To help you prepare for your arrival in France, take a look at our interactive modules before you leave your home country and to find out about your first steps in France and at university: Videos, Quizzes, Vocabulary, Practical information... These modules have been produced by the International Relations Office (DRI) and the Centre international d'études françaises (CIEF) as part of the Bienvenue en France label.

 
Presentation

The "Welcome to the Université Lumière Lyon 2" project offers online modules designed to provide information for international students who are joining our University as part of an exchange or on an individual basis. Designed to facilitate their integration, these modules also aim to raise their awareness of the intercultural dimension and help them acquire the language skills they need to manage new situations in everyday life and at university.
Various themes are covered:

  • The first steps;

  • Accommodation;

  • Transport and living in Lyon;

  • The University;

  • Finance;

  • Health.

Students will be able to find tips and advice on how to prepare for their move to France while working on their French language skills.. 

In each module, students will be able to:

Watch videos and test their listening comprehension.

Do interactive, self-correcting exercises.

Learn vocabulary.

Find out about everyday life in Lyon and prepare for their studies at the Université Lumière Lyon 2.
