The Collegium de Lyon - Institute of Advanced Studies
The Collegium de Lyon - Institute of Advanced Studies (fr. Institut d’Etudes Avancées or IEA), member of the French (RFIEA) and European (NETIAS) networks of Institutes of Advanced Studies, is an institute within the University of Lyon that welcomes researchers usually posted abroad to carry out their innovative research project for 5 to 10 months.
The Université Lumière Lyon 2 is a privileged partner of the Collegium.
In 2019, 28 researchers were hosted in 17 research units under the supervision of Lyon 2.

ULYS – incoming mobility of international talent
Espace Ulys is the welcome center for international researchers, professors and PhD students arriving at the Lyon-Saint Etienne campus. The center provides them assistance for all administrative procedures regarding immigration, moving and integration, before and on arrival and during their stay.
