As part of the Welcome to France label, the International Relations Department and the International Center for French Studies (CIEF) have produced interactive modules to help international students prepare for their arrival in France.

 
Presentation

The "Welcome to the University Lumière Lyon 2" project offers online modules aimed at informing international students who are joining our University as part of an exchange program or as individuals. Designed to facilitate student integration, these modules also aim to make students aware of the intercultural dimension and to help them acquire the language skills needed to manage new situations encountered in everyday life and at the university.

Different themes are covered:
 

Thématiques modules "Bienvenue en France"
  • the first steps
  • housing
  • transportation and life in Lyon
  • the University
  • finances
  • health
Students can find tips and advice on how to prepare for their move to France while working on their French language skills. 

In each module, students will be able to:
Watch videos and test their listening comprehension.
Do interactive and self-correcting exercises.

Learn vocabulary.
Learn about the different situations of daily life in Lyon and prepare for studies at the Université Lumière Lyon 2.
How to access modules
The "Welcome to Lumière Lyon 2 University" modules are located on the University's Open Moodle platform, accessible before your arrival in France.
