"Hosting the winner of the Tocqueville-Fullbright Professorship is part of a set of measures implemented by the university to welcome foreign teachers, teacher-researchers and researchers. For starters, invited professors come visit under the initiative of a faculty or within the framework of the international MINERVE program in order to give courses in specialised languages at a bachelor's, master's or doctoral level. They are also, occasionally, colleagues who come for specific programs, as is the case for Prof. Dr. Valérie Orlando, winner of the Tocqueville-Fulbright Professorship (2019-2020). These relationships that are forged with foreign colleagues and institutions enable us to strengthen the international dynamics of our university, to reinforce the internationalisation of courses and also to enable our laboratories to develop partnerships and research projects with foreign institutions."
