This year, the Université Lumière Lyon 2 is delighted to welcome four international students, winners of the Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program, who will join several Master's courses at the start of the new academic year in September 2025.
Created in 1999 by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Eiffel programme aims to attract the best international candidates. It rewards students whose academic excellence has been recognised by offering them a scholarship to study at the French institution of their choice.
This year's winners hail from Turkey, Brazil, Spain and Benin.

The Eiffel scholarship program
Developed and funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Eiffel Scholarship Programme is designed to boost the appeal of French institutions. It aims for excellence, with institutions themselves pre-selecting the best international students, who are then shortlisted by a panel of experts.
It enables French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to master's and doctoral degree programmes, to train future foreign decision-makers from the private and public sectors, in priority fields of study, and to encourage applications from students from emerging countries for master's programmes and from emerging and industrialised countries for doctoral programmes. |
