This year, the University is delighted to welcome three international students who have been awarded Eiffel Excellence Scholarships; they will be joining various Master’s and PhD programmes when the academic year begins in September 2026.

Established in 1999 by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Eiffel Programme aims to attract the best international talent. It recognises students of recognised academic excellence by offering them a scholarship to study at the French institution of their choice.

This year’s recipients are from Argentina, Canada and Algeria.

The Eiffel scholarship program

Developed and funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Eiffel Scholarship Programme is designed to boost the appeal of French institutions. It aims for excellence, with institutions themselves pre-selecting the best international students, who are then shortlisted by a panel of experts.

It enables French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students to master's and doctoral degree programmes, to train future foreign decision-makers from the private and public sectors, in priority fields of study, and to encourage applications from students from emerging countries for master's programmes and from emerging and industrialised countries for doctoral programmes.
