Ethics and integrity

In a global context where general trust in science is declining, Université Lumière Lyon 2 advocates for rigorous scientific integrity. To this end, the institution has appointed a scientific integrity officer (Référent intégrité scientifique) and established a scientific integrity committee, which inform laboratories, disseminate best practices through training and tools (against plagiarism) intended for doctoral students and teacher-researchers, and provide solutions to difficulties in this area. Each year, doctoral students report on the conditions under which they are conducting their thesis work to monitoring committees.
