Université Lumière Lyon 2 is a humanistic, engaged and globally-oriented university for Humanities and Social Sciences. Across our two campuses and three sites, we are home to nearly 27,000 students – more than 15% of them being international. These students add to the University’s diversity and rich culture and are living proof of our commitment to creating an open-minded and international campus.

If you wish to attend Université Lumière Lyon 2 outside of an exchange program, you will have to enroll individually. This will allow you to follow a course offered by our university and to be awarded a French degree at the end of your studies.

Non-exchange students (or free movers) are welcome on both campuses, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You can make an appointment on the Affluences website:
