Since January 1, the “BAUHAUS4EU - A European University for Resilient, Sustainable, Inclusive and Beautiful Regions” project has been underway. To mark this launch, a celebration was held at our partners' Katowice University of Economics, in the presence of the presidents of all the alliance's institutions.
As a reminder, this project will enable us to work within the alliance on a range of subjects, with strong links to our territorial ecosystem: development of regional innovation hubs; micro-credit training on issues linked to the project's core themes (urban/rural disparities, built heritage, renovations and transitions); student entrepreneurship; challenge-based learning schemes; research-backed training; sharing on the inclusivity and resilience of our campuses, etc. → Read more |
Our involvement in the BAUHAUS4EU alliance
“To underline the university's determination to make internationalization a key element of its overall strategy for the years ahead, the university's governance has decided to create an Internationalization and European Alliance vice-presidency,” explains Jim Walker, current Vice President Internationalization.
Next steps
The first meetings of the various teams are currently being organized, to begin work on the creation of a common digital platform, a mapping of our training courses in partnership, the prefiguration of territorial innovation hubs and exchanges on a green and inclusive campus, for example. Two institutional events for the alliance are already scheduled, in Weimar in March and the BAUHAUS4EU Forum in Castelo Branco in June 2025, to make more concrete and collective progress on all these issues, and to build momentum across all our establishments.
